the home of the Maplewild
Project. The Maplewild Project is the creation of a sustainable organic farm from scratch. The project is scheduled to be "complete" by the fall of 2010. The primary focus of Maplewild Farm will be to grow heirloom and open polinated vegetables in a sustainable manner and sell them via CSA subscriptions. The location in north-west Snohomish County will allow convenient service to residents of Stanwood, Smokey Point, Marysville, Tulalip and Everett. With skyrocketing land values threatening the future of the remaining local conventional farm land, this specialty project will become a valuable asset to the community, providing the highest quality locally grown organic produce. |
